Sending faxes with the iPhone app is simple. If you don't have the latest version of the app, you'll want to visit the app store to upgrade.

1. Log in to the app with your account credentials
2. Click the “Compose a Fax” button on the main screen to enter the fax composer.
3. Then enter the fax number, an optional cover letter note, and then click the "+" or “Add page” button next to the "Pages to Fax" section.
4. This will allow you to attach pages, or use your smartphone camera to take pictures of the pages you'd like to fax
5. Once you’re done, click the "Send Fax" button.

That's all there is to it!

If you’re using the app to send your fax, you'll want to make sure the quality is as good as possible.

• Hold the camera directly over the document
• Use as much natural light as possible
• Try to avoid casting any shadows on to the document
• Make sure you use dark-colored ink if you needed to fill out a form or sign the document

1. Open your email program and create an email to send@faxburner.com. The email must be sent from the email address associated with your account.
2. In the subject line, enter the phone number you want to send a fax to. You can enter the phone number in any format.
3. In the email body, type an optional cover letter note. The cover letter is counted as 1 page of the fax.
4. Attach the document(s) you want to fax in PDF format. There is a limit of 25MB per email sent, so if you have a very large fax, you will need to break it up into smaller segments.
5. Send the email.

FaxBurner will read the PDF attachments and convert them into a fax and send it on your behalf.

Here are some tips to make sure your recipient gets a clear, readable fax.

• If you are scanning a document, please make sure the resolution is set to 204 x 196 dpi for the best quality.
• If you are sending a PDF, the file dimensions must be set to 8.5 x 11 inches. If the document is set to different dimensions, the fax will be cut off when sent.
• If you need to fill out a form or sign a document, make sure you use a pen with dark ink and a thicker line.

Start by clicking “Reserve a Fax Number” either in the app or by logging in to FaxBurner.com. With a free account, you can request a free fax number for 24 hours. With either of our paid accounts you can keep your number.

You will receive a notification and copy of your fax to the email address you used to create your account. Your received faxes will also be available in your account, both online and in the app.

Follow these steps to disable the FaxBurner cover page.

1. Visit faxburner.com to login to your account.
2. Access the My Account Fax Settings page.
3. Uncheck the box next to “Include Coversheet”
4. Then click Save Subscription Settings.

Delete a fax from the app

1. To delete a fax from the app, simply swipe left on the fax that you would like to delete.
2. You should then see a red Delete button.
3. Click that button to completely delete the fax.

Note: you can only delete one fax at a time from the app. If you’d like to delete faxes in bulk, you can login via faxburner.com and follow the instructions listed below.

1. Visit faxburner.com and login to your account.
2. Check the boxes to the left of each fax that you would like to delete.
3. In the Perform Action dropdown, choose "Delete Selected Messages"
4. Click the “Go” button.

As long as nobody else is using the number, we can usually recover the number for you.

You can view your sent faxes in 2 places:

1. The app. Simply open the app and you will see a Sent Faxes section.
2. Your FaxBurner account. Login to https://www.faxburner.com and click My Faxes. Choose "Sent" from the Filter dropdown.
