Sending faxes with our iPhone or Android app could not be easier. Make sure you have the latest version of our app from the app store. Then, just sign in on your mobile phone and follow these simple steps.

  1. Tap the “Compose a Fax” option on the main screen.
  2. On the compose page, enter your recipient's fax number in the “to” field, and compose an optional cover letter to send with your fax.
  3. Click the "+" button near the “Pages to Fax” section to add your fax.
  4. Choose your document, or snap a picture of the pages you wish to send.
  5. Finally, tap the “Send Fax” button.

A confirmation will be sent to your email.

How to send a fax from your email

Send a free fax from any email client!

  1. Start by composing an email to “send@faxburner.com”. You’ll need to use the email account associated with your Faxburner account.
  2. The only thing in the subject line should be the fax number to which you are sending the fax. Use any format.
  3. If you want to include a cover letter, type that into the body of the email. This is totally optional. Your cover letter will be page 1 of the fax.
  4. Attach the document(s) you wish to fax to the email. These should be converted to PDF format. To send faxes larger than 25MB, you may need to send more than one email.
  5. Click or tap send.

The Faxburner utility will read the attached documents, convert them into a fax, and send them to your recipient's fax machine. Quick and easy!

How to send a fax from your computer

You can easily send a fax from a Windows or Mac computer or laptop. Just be sure to follow the same instructions we have given you to send a fax from your email.

Simply log into the email account you used to create your account on your laptop or PC. Now, fill in the information just as described above. Your email will be successfully processed and sent as a fax.

You can log in to your Faxburner account any time to see a record of received and sent faxes. Confirmations are always sent to your email as well.
